A brand new event to highlight sales recruitment at global corporations will take place this September.
The Sales Jobs Expo, to be held in London from Sept. 5-6, will see representation from some of the world’s top employers looking to recruit new salespeople.
So far, employers committed to send representatives to the Sales Jobs Expo include Microsoft, Thomson Reuters, Realex Payments and Hewlett Packard, according to Exhibition News.
“Over the two days, these companies will be able to promote opportunities within their business in an open and inspiring forum environment to over 2,500 pre-selected sales professional candidates looking for the following positions: Sales Executives, B2B Sales, IT Sales, Consultative Sales, Telesales and Field Sales,” the Sales Jobs Expo’s website says.
“Sales recruiting is a constant challenge, and it requires a continuous effort on the part of those looking for talent,” explains Dane Reese, CEO of People Axiom. “Any kind of event that attracts top talent is valuable. Events like this allow companies to have that advantage, and in today’s competitive sales world this should not be taken lightly.”
In addition to offering extensive recruitment opportunities for companies and job candidates, attendants at the Sales Jobs Expo will get to experience “a series of interactive, thought-provoking features that will create a new, creative environment for sales recruitment, as well as help to inspire and development the talent,” the event’s website said.
Other features at the event include panel discussions, QandAs with sales recruitment industry experts and networking opportunities.
According to Exhibition News, the Sales Jobs Expo arose out of a partnership between expo organizer and Managing Director of Mercury Events Matt Miller and the global recruitment firm Global Vision Recruitment. Attending the Sales Jobs Expo is free, but job candidates may attend by invitation only and must pre-register and upload a resume to the event’s website.
